Isaiah’s journey began in primary school, where his education was at risk without consistent support. Like many children facing uncertainty, his future beyond basic schooling was unclear. What he did have, however, was a strong willingness to learn and a quiet determination to keep going, even when the path ahead felt uncertain.
Isaiah’s mother was one of the first women to join our programs during their early visioning stage, and she always came with Isaiah. We began supporting his school fees and educational needs from his lower primary years and have continued to do so to this day. His mother works as a local cleaner at a daycare center, and her salary is only sufficient to cover rent and food for her children, making it difficult for her to meet all other expenses. She asked only that we support Isaiah’s school fees and scholastic materials, which we were glad to begin providing early on.
Isaiah was always present at all our women’s programs and, from an early age, showed a level of maturity beyond his years especially considering the environment he grew up in and the challenges that came with living in disadvantaged neighborhoods. We recognized early on that boarding school would be the best solution, helping to protect him from behaviors and influences that were not appropriate for his age to witness or experience. We are truly grateful we made that decision, especially today, as we see what he has worked so hard to become and the promising direction in which his life is heading.
Through consistent educational support over the years, Isaiah remained committed to his studies and continued to grow in confidence and purpose. Today, he is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Science at university, an achievement that once felt far beyond reach. His journey from primary school to higher education reflects years of dedication, perseverance, and hope.
We are incredibly proud of Isaiah and the effort he puts into his education every day, as he works toward a future of service and impact.
